An HTRC Church Family Scrapbook
Just as we all treasure the scrap books and digital photos of our families, we also delight in sharing the visual evidence of one of the happiest churches in Waco. We enjoy recording events in which we come together to give God glory.
We hope this photo gallery reminds you of the wonderful times we’ve shared!
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is always an exciting time as our children enjoy games, activities, and Bible lessons we plan especially for them. VBS is one of those special times for churches to connect with the children in the congregation. Each VBS is an unforgettable experience for us and for them as the children share what they learn in our powerful youth church services.
What Is A “Full Gospel” Church?
With roots in the Pentecostal church, Full Gospel churches believe that the Holy Spirit is ministering to all of us and still performing miracles in this present day.
The term “Full Gospel” was penned by A.B. Simpson, founder of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
Many Pentecostal churches adopted his Foursquare Gospel, and many local churches teach it today.
Simpson’s Full Gospel beliefs held four truths about Christ: He is the Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Soon Coming King.
The Apostle Paul echoes this thought in Romans 15:18-19 “…for I will not dare speak of anything except what the Messiah has accomplished through me to bring the Gentiles to obedience by my words and deeds, through the power of signs and miracles, through the power of the Spirit of God. So from Jerusalem all the way to Illyricum I have fully proclaimed the Good News of the Messiah.”
We hold these beliefs as truth in our own church. If we place our faith in God through Christ Jesus our Savior, He will be with us and reveal His power to us in a personal way.

Inspiration From God’s Word
We all benefit from an inspirational Word of scripture to get us through difficult times. The Bible is full of uplifting wisdom and the knowledge that we are never alone as God is always with us and will never forsake us. Churches have a sacred duty to share the infallible Word of God. We would like to share a few of our favorite Scripture verses with you.
1 John 3:1-4
“See what love the Father has lavished on us in letting us be called God’s children! For that is what we are. The reason the world does not know us is that it has not known him. Dear friends, we are God’s children now; and it has not yet been made clear what we will become. We do know that when he appears, we will be like him; because we will see him as he really is. And everyone who has this hope in him continues purifying himself, since God is pure. Everyone who keeps sinning is violating God’s commands – indeed, sin is violation of God’s commands.”
“But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything; that is, he will remind you of everything I have said to you. What I am leaving with you is peace — I am giving you my peace. I don’t give the way the world gives. Don’t let yourselves be upset or frightened. You heard me tell you, `I am leaving, and I will come back to you.’ If you loved me, you would have been glad that I am going to the Father; because the Father is greater than I. Also, I have said it to you now, before it happens; so that when it does happen, you will trust.”
2 Timothy 1:7-9
“For God gave us a Spirit who produces not timidity, but power, love and self-discipline. So don’t be ashamed of bearing testimony to our Lord or to me, his prisoner. On the contrary, accept your share in suffering disgrace for the sake of the Good News. God will give you the strength for it, since he delivered us and called us to a life of holiness as his people. It was not because of our deeds, but because of his own purpose and the grace which he gave to us who are united with our Savior Jesus Christ. He did this before the beginning of time…”
“The LORD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation. The sound of rejoicing and victory is heard in the tents of the righteous: ‘ADONAI’s right hand struck powerfully! ADONAI’s right hand is raised in triumph! ADONAI’s right hand struck powerfully!’ I will not die; no, I will live and proclaim the great deeds of the LORD!”
