Glorifying God Through His Word
Inspired For Life
We believe that churches have a responsibility to preach the full word of God so that it touches the hearts and souls of the congregation. We want our sermons to inspire believers to live out the Scriptures, not just hear them.
Pastor Lee Farmer’s sermons reflect the purpose of the church, its mission and role in the body of Christ, and our church’s role in the family of Waco christian churches.
At Harvest Time Revival Center, sermons are not only for exploring Scripture, but to bring the Bible to the people in a relevant way. We are convinced that when Scripture is the focus, God’s true message becomes clear.
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
(1 Corinthians 13:13)
Just as a good sermon inspires believers to live the word of God and walk with Christ, we want to foster the desire in our congregation to join together in Christian love. It’s the fundamental mission of all churches.
Solid preaching has always been integral to effective churches. Heaven-inspired sermons bring the Gospel of Christ to His body. We want to present Christ as the Hope for the whole world, and uphold the Scriptures as the light of the world.
The Ultimate Sermon
Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount laid down the fundamental teachings of the Christian faith. The Beatitudes of Christ focus on love, compassion, humility, and mercy.
The core elements of these teachings are present in our sermons today, as modern-day churches seek to follow the tenets he so perfectly outlined.
Christ taught that we can experience the blessings of God if our hearts are yielded to Him. The inspired Word of God is there for us in times of sadness, sickness, and despair.
In our darkest times of spiritual need, we can recall the words of our Savior’s Sermon on the Mount to lift our spirits:
“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:3-10)
Christ’s sermon is one of the most important in the Bible. His words provide the foundational truths that we as Christians follow.
Our Savior’s words remind us of God’s compassionate blessings and eternal love for us.
At Harvest Time Revival Center, we place an emphasis on preaching the life-changing Word of God in a way that is relevant and powerful to the everyday life of the believer. We trust that these messages truly impact your life for Christ.
If you are looking at local churches for your new spiritual home, these sermons will give you a glimpse into our teachings and worship. They represent the beliefs and mission of Harvest Time Revival Center.
When it comes to boldly preaching the truth of God’s word without compromise, we want to be known as one of the most courageous non-denominational churches in Waco.
We hope these sermons will uplift you during the week and give comfort in your time of need. We also hope they will encourage you to visit our church services and participate in our ministries. It is our prayer that you encounter God’s presence and be touched by His Spirit. We are bringing the good news that Christ is coming. Rejoice in the Lord!
“And I, when I came to you, brothers, I did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God with lofty speech or wisdom. For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. And I was with you in weakness and in fear and much trembling, and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” (Corinthians 2: 1-8)
The sacred Word lives beyond the stones and rafters of churches. At HTRC, we want to invite our congregation to enjoy our weekly sermons and be challenged, encouraged and uplifted. Come join us in worshipping the King of All Kings!
